Why is good posture so important?

Without posture and muscles that control it, we would simply fall to the ground. Correct posture helps us to keep bones and joints in correct alignment. When our muscles are used correctly, it can help to reduce the joint paint problems and prevent strain or overuse problems. The good posture of standing, sitting and lying down can prevent fatigue because muscles are being used more efficiently and allowing the body to use less energy. Spending more time on your feet is good for keep your body relaxed and reduce your stress. Reduces the stress on the ligaments holding the spinal joints together, minimizing the likelihood of injury.
